VISITING rapper Necro, popular on the internet for his "death rap", has been fined $3000 for punching a man who was sitting at a Perth cafe.
Necro, real name Ron Raphael Braunstein, 32, and his back-up DJ Christopher Catenacci, 31, were charged yesterday by police after a 27-year-old man was punched during a scuffle outside the Petite Cafe in Murray St.

Necro Arrested in Australia
Illusive Entertainment, the promoter behind Necro’s current Australian tour, have confirmed with Rhyme & Reason Magazine that police this afternoon [Thursday 4th June] detained the American rapper in Perth after a physical altercation involving a member of the public at around 12:30pm [local time]. Necro will be held in police custody until a scheduled court appearance tomorrow [Friday 5th June]. Necro’s only Perth performance, scheduled for tonight at the Hyde Park Ballroom, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Ticket holders can obtain a full refund at point of purchase. Remaining tour dates in Adelaide and New Zealand are expected to go ahead as scheduled.
